Nautilus Collection

Carol da Silva, a small jewellery designer with Brazilian roots based in Sydney, had launched Nautilus, a collection of golden pieces inspired by the ocean. With Maroubra as her backyard, we shot on a cold June afternoon, when the sky was clear, the sunset came early and the beach offered the perfect mix of blue hues, reflections, marine textures and rock surfaces. With just myself, my camera, a model and a soft natural gradient in the sky, we created a series of images that brought enough light to highlight the pieces while contrasting their preciousness against the raw textures of the coast. Shot in just two hours and retouched with the help of AI, the project became a fast, lean and elevated way of creating strong brand imagery. This is how brands should be working in 2026.
